The University of Botswana Master Plan sets a direction and framework to double the size of the campus by 2010. YGH worked with the University and local partners to evaluate the existing facilities and reorganize the campus for long-term flexibility in separate academic, housing, recreation and support zones. Campus entries and roads were added to reinforce connections between the campus and city center. Over 830,000 sf of new academic and housing space will be developed, including a new recreation center, a 1,000-seat theater, a visitor center and classrooms.
